We have been welcoming guests here since 2003. Today I live in the Appartementhaus Erler myself with my two children, which means I'm in touch with our guests every day.
There's no anonymous reception desk here. We know the best hikes in the valley, the quietest swimming spots in summer and the loveliest ski runs in winter – and we're happy to share our favourite places with you.
Village or farm, a winter day here starts at the front door. In the evening the floodlit toboggan run on the Astberg is waiting, and in Advent the Christmas market in the village.

On Advent evenings the baroque main square glows in front of the Leukentaler Dom. You warm your hands at open fires and wander at your leisure past stalls of handmade crafts.

You set off right in the village and follow the stream, over boardwalks and bridges through an almost tropical-looking forest, until the water plunges 25 metres right beside you. A walk children manage well.

The little ones from age three have a course of their own, the bigger ones ten more, and anyone who dares whizzes across the mountain lake on the flying fox, the Wilder Kaiser right before their eyes.

In September you sit down at a table that runs 595 metres along the Speckbacherstraße and taste your way through some two dozen kinds of dumpling, from bacon to apricot.
